These kids are using AI for good

AI is really powerful.

Prequel kids are incredible innovators.

When those two elements are combined, the results are phenomenal. Today, I’m going to introduce you to a few kids who have used AI to achieve remarkable results.

Buckle up.

🍎 Mark — feeding athletes with AI

Mark is currently training for the upcoming Swimming World Cup in Budapest.

“I’ve been swimming for as long as I can remember,” Mark told me.

He learned to swim at a young age, but as he got older, he realized that he wasn’t just good at this sport — it was his passion.

And like most athletes, he really enjoys a challenge. So he decided to give entrepreneurship a try.

As a part of BETA Camp’s Summer 2023 cohort, Mark built his app, Fittma Pro, in just 4 weeks.

Fittma is a tool that helps elite athletes create meal plans optimized for their fitness goals, at a fraction of the cost of a professional nutritionist.

With help from AI, Mark was able to combine his love of sports and business. 💪

🧬 Clara — turning your DNA into your own personal health coach

Clara is obsessed with personalized medicine, an exciting new field that uses DNA to help people live their healthiest lives.

“Our genes are actually informing a lot in our lives,” says Clara.

Everything from…

  • How our bodies respond to caffeine

  • How we grow muscle

  • How cancer cells develop in our bodies

… is informed by our genetic code.

DNA can help people be healthier — but only if they know how to decipher it.

So, Clara set out to help people do just that.

With no experience in AI or coding, Clara built an AI wellness coach.

Amazing.

🎓 Anaiah, Caleb, Elle, Grace, Hugo, Kate, and Maddie — giving your kid a 75% chance of getting into an Ivy League school

These remarkable kids set out to solve a problem over the weekend:

👉 Why do Olympians have a 75% chance of getting accepted into an Ivy League school, while regular applicants only have a 4% chance?

To figure it out, they needed to do mountains of research. And remember, they were working on a bit of a time crunch — 2 days.

That’s where AI came in.

AI helped them build and organize over 100 pages of research.

Then they created a chatbot to analyze the research and aid in developing a program to help students exponentially increase their likelihood of getting accepted into an Ivy League school.
